[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need your help with a Hammer

Need help, I got a new hammer but just find out it is missing the spring or wire that hold the hammer pin in place, the one that goes inside it.

Where can I buy one, tried in brownels midway wolf srping. With no luck.

You cant buy that retainer spring, its part of the hammer.
Either get a new hammer or a set of KNS pins.

Send the hammer back, since it is supposed to include the spring that retains the pin. I you bought it from a reputable vendor, the shouldn't be any problem getting you a complete hammer.

They are sold separately but shipping out of the country might be difficult.
The wire is same size are a hammer spring. Might could make one. Not sure if the " J " could be bent in the spring without breaking and it is difficult to peen the hardened wire at the small hole to retain the " J"spring in the hammer.
