Still need a few things, but really happy with it so far. My handguard is being very stubborn.. can't seem to get it on without breaking the barrel nut grooves on it.

It seems the nut isn't tightened enough. I've made double sure the ring is fully compressed.. It just refuses to slide on :/

Take the upper off of the lower and use the floor or work bench for leverage it will go much much smoother. It's damn near impossible for me with the upper on lower. The first picture in this thread was after I took a break from trying to install it lol. I had the lower removed much like you suggest when I was trying to install it. thanks for the suggestion tho =) |
