Al-right I just got my BCG from core 15 today and everything looks great, but I noticed that it is dry without any lube what so ever, So aside from the obvious lubing the outside, does the bolt need to have oil to make if function more smoothly? common sense says it should but this is only my 2 ar and I cant remember how my first was when I bought it,
The Bolt is really tight while articulating the bolt back an fourth in the bolt carrier, |
| Lube it with some CLP or other gun oil (Even Mobil 1) and shoot it. After about 200 or so rounds they usually get real easy to operate by hand when you pull them out of the gun and clean them. Shoot it good and wet the first outing and then the next time and there after you shoot it, just have it damp with oil. Thats how I break them in. |

Clp,
Clp is for cleaning and throwing on a shelf... The oil it and run it... After a bit of break in you can back down on how wet it is... One of my armorers dunks the bcg in a quart jar and this it in dripping...at least dyrring break in... After break in a few drops does well... But sloppy wet is the way to break them in.... Bret |
