I usually take every BCG, and make sure to clean out any of the lube that is thick (that is usually a rust preventive i.e. cosmoline) then I I wipe down each part and put fresh oil (whichever is your favorite, I like M-Pro), reassemble, and hit the range!!!

My dad and grandfather both served in Wars and they are the wet side lubricators for their guns. My brother is in special forces and we both tend to lubricate on the light side. Really up to you, as long as you have a quality bcg you will be okay.

This is the stats from their site, I would imagine it should be a sturdy BCG....would you mine posting pictures or emailing me some? I would like to see what it looks like.  Also look under the bolt and see if you see any markings like MPI on it, find it strange they are HP tested and not MPI.

Looks like it is properly staked, semi auto bcg...nothing fancy about it, but nothing stands out as being bad either.

It does look rather parched...I would strip it down and lubricate the whole thing. At least from the pictures it does...
