| Duracoat is really easy and cheap and it holds up well. I would not apply to a upper and lower reciver I would chose cerakote for that job. The thing with duracoat is it is so easy to apply once you beat it up spray it again. I coated a ff tube and some magazines around a year ago and they are still looking good! |

AAAAAAHHHHHH - MY EYES! MY EYES! (kidding you OP. Nice rifle that obviously works well, ruined at leat one squirel's day; and as for your choice of color - to each his own. Thanks for the AAR - good to hear about people actually shooting their builds). Deffinitly not my choice of color I built it for my girlfriends brother in law and that's what he wanted. He left it at my house so I have been playing with his new toy few a few days! |

Specs? 20" ss bull barrel from Jse Stage lower parts kit with jp trigger springs Magpul moe stock grip and trigger gaurd Dpms free float tube and gas block Youngs chrome bcg m-16 Millett varmint scope 6-25 power Mega lower Dpms slick upper I built this in the panic and he only has like 850 in the rifle with out scope he got the lower ahead of time and the stag lpk. I think I got the lower for 125 and lpk for 65 I can't recall exactly it was back in November. The rifle shoots Moa easily at 100 yards with my first set of handloads for it. I'm pretty impressed and once he gets a nice trigger I think 3/4" groups will be no problem which is pretty good for a low cost build and scope. |
