Dvor.com may require you to register, but do it. They actually have great "outdoorsy" deals pertaining to hunting, apparel, guns, tactical stuff, etc. they have the Troy 12" extreme rail for like 145 i think that link. |

would this rail in specter length cover the gas block completely?

I think you may want something greater than 10" to cover a low pro gas block (non extended). I personally like the JP VTac and Diamondhead v-rs t I was looking at this but Idk if I like it or not and im not sure how it would look http://www.tieronearms.com/product-p/vrs10.htm |

Totally forgot but I'm assuming you are using a mid-length gas port barrel right? Well if you are, the specter length won't work. I saw someone with pictures somewhere on this site that said his specter length didn't fully cover the gas block. |

Nope, You need at least 11" to cover the Gas Block on Mid-Length. You might try looking at this one as well. http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Midwest_Industries_SS_Series_Rail_Black_Gen_2_p/mi-ss-railblack-g2.htm It gets really good reviews from most people here. I put it on my rifle recently. It comes with a standard barrel nut and wrench. |
