i got to shoot my 300 blk build yesterday that i finished a couple weeks ago.  it shoots and cycles well but i noticed the spring ringing in the buffer tube after the shot.  any idea how i can stop it?

At brownells and midwayusa they sell a rubber pad that goes on the buffer and there is another piece I forget what its called but its another rubber piece that fits in there to help with some of the slop in the spring sound.

My dad has a pre ban old style M16 and his used to do that, we put that rubber pad on the buffer and that other piece and we don't hear it anymore. I'll try to find a link to it...

Spring noise you describe is normal.
Do not waste $$ putting anything into the spring or tube that will only increase the likelihood of a malfunction.
Enjoy the rifle's singing.

Grease the spring with Lubriplate.
