First post. Hope to contribute as I learn...

I recently landed a NorthTech billet lower from Rainier. Is there a billet upper you would recommend to pair the lower with?
Here in CT an AR15 build can only have two "evils"..so I am going with pistol grip and detachable mag. I like the look of the collapsble stock so I will pin it with a roller dowel. I could really use some guidance on selecting a proper barrel (as in 16" minimim) without a flash suppressor. My understanding is that I can affix permanently a muzzle break and meet the 16" requirement. Should I be shopping for a stripped barrel? A threaded barrel?

Some places like Daniel defense will pin the barrels for you for an extra fee, but you will most likely have to weld/pin it yourself, so yes look for a good muzzle device that you wont change your mind about and a stripped barrel.
