I order my upper from Stag Arms. I hope I got my order in soon enough. This is what I have so far.

You're off to a great start! The wait for the upper might be a while. During this time, you can work on other items for the gun. It looks like you have a sling. You might think about a good flashlight. But first I'd look at what sights you want. Whether irons or glass of some sort. I'd also pick up mags and ammo when you can find them. You may have a real wate till your upper comes. Take this time to build other items.  
Edit- what are the "T" jigs that are in the pics for? Are you a machinist? |

Yes, you've got a good eye I didn't think anything about them being in the pic. I'm making stamps right now for one of our customers.

Those stamps look good! But how come they are all... backwards?  I'm not a machinist, but I just picked up a Sherline table top mill with DRO to play with. I spend too much time in my buddies shop playing with his equipment and decided to buy my own toy. We'll see what I can make break.
BTW, you have the equipment. You just need the file. Manufacturing your own lowers is legal (without an 07 and FFL) as long as you are building for your personal use (and not selling, do not build for a buddy!). You also do not have to regester it (confirm local laws). Order stock of 7075.
