All the parts for my first build have finally been ordered, it's time to put this thing together. Let's pretend I do not have any tools in my house 
Can someone recommend me a good tool kit (or combination of kits), in stock, that will have everything I need for my build (wrenches, punch sets, vice blocks, etc.) Thanks in advance! |

I just built my first rifle from scratch and all I used were:
Set of Roll Pin Punches Vise (mine was an *ok* one from Amazon; ~$30). I used one that suctions to the top of a table and the part that killed me was that it rotates and didn't lock properly. Hammer (ball pein) Soft rubber mallet Armorer's Wrench Torque Wrench Grease for the barrel nut (I used Aeroshell 33MS since it meets federal standard) Upper receiver vise block Flathead screwdriver (for the grip screw and holding in detents) Masking tape (to protect the finish if that matters to you) Overall it's not too difficult! |

Instead of the previous link, I'd recommend these slightly higher quality roll pin punches that are in the same price range. They're the ones I used and were perfect.
