I'm building a 16" rifle length gas system Dissy. I'll have the Moe rifle stock. What buffer should I use. Thanks

Rifle length buffer would be a good start.

What is your gas port size?  I'd run a standard carbine buffer if you plan on an adjustable stock.

If you're using a rifle buffer tube, you should only use a rifle buffer.

Sorry I wasn't more clear.

I'm running a rifle length tube for the Moe rifle stock. I just didn't know if you could use different buffer's or not. I'm not that familiar with them. That's why I'm asking.

The gas port is .98. If it doesn't run my 55gr ammo, I'll open it up to match the DPMS spec,,,or a bit under to start. That spec is .113

Then just run a regular rifle buffer.  .98 will probably be okay unless you are shooting very underpowered ammo like the white box Tula.
