Is there a difference in handles for 5.56 and 7.62x39?

I believe it's the upper that determines the charging handle. 5.56, 6.8, .300 Blackout... same.

AR 10/ .308.... not the same.

Nope, All AR-15 charging handles are the same except some 22lr charging handles may be 22 specific.
