Hey guys, I have a Larue Tactical upper receiver and a BCM bolt carrier group. It came fully assembled and I took it straight from the packaging to the gun. When I install it into the upper receiver, when fully seated, the back of the bcg sticks out and hits the top of the buffer, and if i push the buffer back, it hits the lower receiver. I can't put the upper and lower together without taking out both pins and sliding them together, if that makes sense. If anyone has any tips or knows what the problem could be it would really help me out.

Make sure your bolt is pulled out so that your BCG lever isnt getting in the way.  The bolt has to be extended to be able to seat correctly into the upper.

I just re-read your post and have no idea what you are talking about.  Take pictures

Sounds like everything is correct, if I understand your post.

Reason for this:

The buffer rests against the buffer retainer pin when the receivers are open.
The buffer cannot be allowed to strike the buffer retainer during operation.
To protect the buffer retainer pin, the carrier pushes back on the buffer slightly so that the buffer never touches the retainer during operation.

All this means to you is that you should have to push back on the buffer when closing the receivers.

Edit:
Didn't see that the carrier was hitting the lower as well.
Ensure that the bolt is fully closed.
Being a new weapon the bolt lugs and barrel extension may need breaking in.

did you try pushing it in and just making sure it is fully locked?

Assuming that the entire BCG is properly assembled, and that you are installing it correctly, as was pointed out, make sure the bolt is fully extended prior to inserting it into the upper...

Either the bolt lugs, or the lugs on the receiver extension are out of spec, and it is not allowing the bolt to rotate to the fully locked position.  Probably means your headspace is way off too.
