Well HIVE I have 1 complete rifle and 3 additional lowers at this exact juncture (not including the 2 .308 lowers I am waiting to arrive). The BBL that is in my current buitl rifle was given to me in exchange for so home business networking i did for an old friend. Issue at hand is it is 1:9 twist which into itself isnt a death sentence, however the heaviest projo I have sent down the pipe has been a 69GR BTHP and the accuracy was very close to the LC 855 I normally shoot. What I dotn know is how it will react to 75, 77, or 80 gr pills.....
So here is the question, if it cant shoot the heavy sutff do I turn it into a reece style rifle with a "permenant" .22 conversion or do I dedicate it as purley a training/ eventual truck gun??? Looking for your guys/ gals thoughts, with the exclusion of the lower itself I did not come out of pocket for the gun itself. |
