I am building my first AR. I have the lower completed. M&P15 lower receiver, DD LPK, Spikes buffer tube kit, and a CTR stock. I have been looking at some completed uppers and I think I might go with this BCM upper.

I have read around and this looks like a quality upper to me, but then again I don't have any real knowledge/experience on building AR's I want this rifle to be very dependable and built to last. So what do you guys think of this BCM upper? Could I save some money piecing together and building my own or would it not save enough to even worry about? Like I said I want this to be a very dependable rifle that is built using quality parts that are going to last. I'm open to other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance for your guys help. |

If you want to build your upper you will have to buy some tools that you probably don't have, so the price just went up. Any BCM upper will be plug-n-play. |

I'm about to get a RRA Mid-Length A4 Upper Half got one already in love it shoots what ever I put in it.
