Finally got my build to a point where I am very happy with it. Only thin I could add at this point would be some sort of optic - most likely an ACOG. Had a Nikon M-223 2-8x on it before that I liked, but I wanted to go for a more simple style, so I put that on my 10/22 for now. Here is the parts list:

American Weapon Systems lower
DPMS lower parts kit
Magpul MOE+ grip
Magpul enhanced trigger guard
ATI milspec buffer system
Magpul ACS-L stock (pinned, thanks MA!)
American Weapon Systems upper
BCM bolt carrier group
Noveske charging handle w/ Badger Ordnance latch
White Oak Armament 16" barrel, 1:7 twist, mid-length gas (painted end flat black to match rifle)
YHM low profile gas block
YHM Phantom muzzle brake (pinned, thanks MA!)
Centurion C4 rail, 10" length
Magpul MBUS gen 2 BUIS front/rear

I think that about does it. It will shoot anything I put through it without a hiccup. Loves cheapo Tula junk from Walmart for easy range practice. Like I said, in the future I will probably add an ACOG, probably TA-33 or similar. Really want to nail down the iron sights in the mean time. So far been grouping around 2" @ 50yds with the iron sights, and my eyesight isn't all that great. All around great, reliable gun that I would absolutely trust in a SHTF scenario. Gotta say, I went from a Troy TRX Extreme 13" handguard to the Centurion and I am glad I did - I love the Centurion. Same with the stock - went from an Ace ARFX fixed to the Magpul ACS-L and very glad I did - the cheek weld is awesome on the Magpul.

Any comments, love it or hate it, are welcome. thanks for checking.

That actually looks really good.  Don't you love retarded gun laws that solve nothing?

As far as ACOGs - I've never used a TA33, but I have used a TA31 and a TA11.  Even though it is a little bulky, I highly recommend the TA11.  The eye relief is extremely generous.  After the TA31, it felt extremely forgiving and enjoyable to shoot.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check into that. A friend of mine has a TA31 but that was my only complaint, the eye relief is only 1.5" or so. I was more used to my M-223 which had around 3-4".

Also for reference, here are a few older pics from some of my earlier versions...

(Liked the EOTech but the holographic sight did not agree w/ my astigmatism)

I am very happy with where it sits now.
