Can I use my buffer and spring from the standard stock on my rifle in a a1 stock?

As long as by "standard" you mean rifle length receiver extension/buffer/spring yes. You'll need to ommit the spacer and use an A1(short) screw.Will not work with any carbine/adjustable stock receiver extensions..

An A1 stock is sooooo just right. I run 4 of them. I'm tall with long arms too. You'll love it.

Thanks for the info.. I think it will be a lot more comfortable using the a1
