So, I recently purchased a KAC FF RAS (Long) and I'm running into some trouble with the install.  I have the barrel torqued correctly and the gas tube lined up as well.  But when you tighten the barrel nut to the rail system is were I am having a problem.  The directions given by kac say to use a strap wrench to tightened the nut to the rail system.  I unfortunately have only been able to acquire low end strap wrenches that you can find stocked at your local hardware store.  I greased the threads both to the rail system and nut that needs to be tightened. But, after I try to tighten everything with the strap wrench I still have about a complete thread exposed. If any one has any experience or advice they like to share on installing these KAC free float rails it would be greatly appericated. Also, when using a strap wrench for intsallin rail systems is there a certain brand strap wrench that is prefered. Thank you.

tighten and loosen it a few times just like you do the barrel nut...also see if you can find a better strap wrench. When I did mine I used a Ridgid brand strap wrench.
