Any difference front to rear? I need to order a stock. So after launching it 4 times its GONE. Ill just order 2 or 3 but there are different part #s on Skematic? Are the the same?
thanks |
| Same part and one that is always good to have a few spares of laying around. That is a part that has caused me to delay a build for several days while waiting for a replacement part to arrive because of this exact issue. Now, I keep a couple in my spare parts box so that the next time one achieves a low Earth orbit, I can finish my build. |

Quoted: No, he needs the corrrect tools... +2 Suggested reading: http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=362116 |
+25. I've built 25 lowers now and screw all that plastic bag, under a sheet, use a razor blade... crap. Use the correct tool (clevis pin) and if you pay even halfway attention to what you are doing you will never launch another detent or spring. Oh, and put away the beer also. Even using correct tools does not make up for a head gone goofy from alcohol. One would think after launching the first one that you would have sought out the correct tool for installation instead of continuing to launch detents. I guess you like scavenger hunts!
