I asked in another thread but got no response so here it goes...

I have an A2 stock with a rifle spring and buffer. The sproing sound is extreamly loud to the point where the guy next to me said he could hear it.

It is extreamly distracting when shooting for groups. Functions fine though.

Is there a way to calm down the sound? I understand it is a nessecary evil but if the guy in the lane next to me can hear it something is not right

It is a midlength build all RRA parts

It was greased. Is it normal for it to be that loud?

The guy had hearing protection on was one bench over and said he could hear it.
