I am building a 6.8. I have a .556 bolt carrier will a 6.8 bolt face work in a .556 carrier or do i need a to pick up a new carrier for 6.8

Same carrier. It willwork fine.

The 5.56 and 6.8 both use the same bolt carrier, firing pin, & cam bolt. Most 6.8 bolts use the same extractor too.
