Ok guys, I have a standard Bushmaster XM-15 E2S no bells, no whistles. I was plan on upgrading it and wanted some advice on what to go with for parts. I already have a few parts that I already plan on getting but wanted some advice. I plan on keeping the barrel(less then 100 rounds through it), Lower, and furniture for now. I plan on going with a VLTOR MUR upper because they are over built and look bad-ass, but what would you guys recommend as far a BCG, barrel, lower, etc... or should I just sell this one and buy something more top of the line? Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I might scrape my plan on keeping with the Bushy barrel, but keeping it for a backup and going with a heavy barrel

Why change anything?

But ammo and shoot the snot out of it. In a few thousand rounds you'll KNOW what you need to change if anything.

This ^^^

Put a few thousands rounds downrange and you' just might decide to do a scratch build for your second one.

I might just buy a different upper for it. I am not a fan of the A1 style upper rear sights, always used an A2 or an M4 style when I was in the military. I know "Whats the difference?" but to me they just aren't suited for my eyes.
