I started out 3 years ago when a friend of mine informed me that one could legally obtain an AR in California. After the first one i knew I had to have at least 2 more, so here is my small yet highly entertaining/fun AR family to date

My 1st, nothing fancy but it planted the seed
DPMS 1/9 compete upper 556 (carbine)
Del-Ton lower
Bullet Button mag lock (yay!!)
DPMS LPK
Buttstock ATI or somthing cheap like that

My 2nd, wanted something a little more precise, not that one cannot be precise with irons....its just that i cannot
YHM stripped Upper
YHM 20" 1/7 fluted barrel 556 (rifle length gas system)
RRA BCG
Spikes stripped lower
Bullet Button mag lock (yay!!)
DPMS charging handle
DPMS extended flash suppressor
YHM Rifle length customizable free float forearm
MagPul PRS stock
DPMS LPK
DPMS This pistol grip
MagPul MBUS gen 2 front and rear sights
Burris PPER scope rings/riser
Barska This Scope (not the best scope but it works for me)
Harris Bipod

My 3rd, I wanted to try out the painted Black rifle for my most recent build and decided upon cerakote, after purchasing and airgun and practicing with some cheap airbrush paints i went for it and have absolutely no regrets
spiked stripped lower
radlock mag lock (yay!!!)
LPK i cannot for the life of me remember who made it but it was not DPMS
buttstock i dont remember (something cheap)
YHM stripped upper
Troy VTAC 11" TRX battlerail (love this rail)
Green Mountain 1/8 Carbine 16" 556 barrel this

I have hunted for a large portion of my life but it has been almost exclusively waterfowl, I had never purchased a firearm of own. I only ever used the 870 wingmaster my dad gave me and my grandpas gen 1 super black eagle. My 1st AR was the 1st firearm I have ever purchased and i must say that it has snowballed into 3 ARs, 1 XD40, 1 henry 22LR lever action for my sons 1st birthday and my Benelli SuperNova. On top of that my 1st AR was the 1st rifle I had shot, it was quite a bit to take in at 1st but thanks to all the knowledgeable people on this site I have come a long way. Thank all of you and yay me for all my new tools!!

Nice! I like that you self performed the Cerakote! Did you coat the inside of the receivers or did you tape them off and leave the inside black? Can't quite tell from the pics.

Awesome sticks!

Nice guns.

Watch out for that hardwood floor though. Looks just like mine. If it's the swiftlock stuff from lowe's, it can't handle moisture for crap.... not that any of it should remain wet for long, but just from me and the dog going in and out in the rain it got puffy on the edges.

Ya I've already had issues with it from similar situations
