I am looking to install some anti-rotational pins on a pre-ban EA lower, and am not sure of the best way to measure the size of the trigger pins dimensions without buying an expensive tool. Any suggestions?

Get .154 pins.  EA didn't do .170 pins, only Colt did. .155 pins are only if your holes are already egged out to hell and gone.

Harbor Freight regularly has a 6" digital caliper on sale for $9.95.  Not an expensive thing at all to have around.

Get a cheap micrometer or caliper from HF. While I wouldn't trust them on anything I need serious precision for, they work just fine for determining which standard size your pins are.
