I'm helping my son build his first ar15, it will be a 22 conversion. I have already got him a 5.56 bolt for when he is ready. I had ordered his upper parts kit a week back it was from DPMS, I will never buy a part from them again!!! There customer service sucked, I called to ask how in the h3ll .2 pounds would cost 14bucks to ship. The person said that is what it cost to ship ground and hung up on me.
I only bought the dang parts from them because they were in stock, and the upper parts (forward assist and dust cover) are hard to get out of spec. Now that my rant is done, I must be honest the cost of shipping was tbd so its on me for not checking. But I bet I could have gotten better reception upon asking a question from a crack head. |

I feel you....
I picked up a FF Tube in the EE. The seller made it clear that the barrel nut was not included. I thought...no problem, I'll just order another one. Well to my surprise, I couldn't find one on their website. Emailed CS and received a short reply back...."We don't sell them.". So I emailed back and explained my situation. Response..."No, we only sell the set so you will need to order the whole set." My response...."THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!" Seriously.....they won't sell a BARRELL NUT FOR A FF TUBE THAT THEY MANUFACTURE WITH A DIFFERENT THREAD PITCH JUST SO THEIR STUFF WON"T WORK WITH ANYONE ELSES??? Now there is a good business practice there! OK...rant over...needless to say, they will not be getting any more of my business. |
