[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First partial build

Thought I would share my first partial build.
This is my first AR and thanks to all you I am addicted.

used RRA 20'' ssbull upper
Spikes Lower
PSA Lower Build Kit

I also bought a armorers tool and 3 mags from PSA
Put it all together with no problems using the info on this site and brownells videos.
I also threw on a scope I had, Bushnell Banner 6-18x50
I tied the sling myself.
I am thinking about getting an A2 stock for it, I am not liking the 6 position I got for it.

Test fired it this last weekend and it fires flawlessly, now just have to sight it in and then it will be ready for my annual prairie dog shoot.

Worked on brass today so within the week I should get a range report for the rifle.
I am loading up Hornady Z-Max in 50gr

Got loads figured out today,
Shooting 50gr. Z-Max, 27gr. Varget, CCI primers.

This week I will get it sighted in perfect and get some pics of the targets!

NIce build, I have same spikes lower they are nice, Sweet looking barrel you have there!!! Let us know how she shoots.
