I've been goin back and forth and can't decide what I wanna do.
Option 1 (was original plan) Spikes 14.5 middy with NiB bcg and vortex fh that aimsurplus offers(when in stock, them seem to go fast) Option 2 14.5 hammer forged middy rifle kit from PSA (I also like this idea bc for basically the same price as the spikes I will get an extra lpk and stock kit, that I can stash away, seein as I have a complete lower ready to go, spikes zombie lower with spikes elpk, and ctr stock if you were wondering) Thnks for any input. |

Both are good choices. Extra parts are nice, but in reality, I think you could just flip a coin. For what it's worth, I think the general concensus around here is to rate Spikes just a notch above PSA.
Also look here Rio Grande Arms. It looks like you can actually put together a semi-custom upper from manufacturers such as Spikes, Daniel Defense, and BCM. In which case I would have to rank DD and BCM above the spikes. I believe you get a cold hammer forged barrel with the DD (mine is) and I know that BCM offers it but it is not always standard. |
