Does anyone have any input on a decent quality 16" 5.56mm barrel for a reasonable price? I have a S&W M&P-15 that I originally bought in CT(they still have their own version of the AWB) and now that I'm finally out of that god-forsaken state, I'm looking to replace the barrel with one that i can piut a flash suppresor or muzzle brake on.

Not to be a PITA, but there are several quality barrels across several price points. "Reasonable" is very subjective. What is the price point you are trying to hit and we can help you out a little more.
You also have to look at time. Some barrels are readily available, while others you are subjected to a long lead-time. |

I just bought a 16" WOA middy Wylde for a great price at Rainier Arms. They also have a good selection of the DD CHF .556 barrels which are quality. Both barrels receive high marks from the ARFCOMers.
Another choice would be Wilson Combat. They have excellent prices on .556 match grade barrels. |
If you are willing to wait, check out the Rainer Arms site, quality bbls from several venders.
