Doing my first build and started by installing the magazine release and the button doesn't fit in the lower. Took the button off my other rifle and it didn't fit either. I'm assuming the lower is out of spec but wanted to ask before I call Monday for a replacement.

| Sometimes the hardcoat is thicker in some spots than others, leading "close fit" tolerances to become "interference fit" situations. Can you provide more information beyond "it doesn't fit"? And what brand of lower parts kits did those mag catch buttons come from? Small parts from various vendors are more likely to be out of spec than a lower that was milled by a "tried and true" CNC milling system. |
