Ok I did it....   fell off the bench into the same twightzone that the one sock from the dryer heads to..

So I go to my DPMS AR15 repair kit...which has one ( as the lable says...)....  but there are 3 that are darn pretty close in size.....   how can I tell which is the right one...???

No help with the immediate question but put a small smear of grease on it before you drive it in.

Here is a pic that may help, there are only two pins and the bolt catch is smaller.

LOL....    Well the DPMS Parts kit has numerous othe parts ( gas block pin etc.)     I have RRA LPK showing up this week for my other toy....and will use it to figure it out...

And will try the grese trick as well..

The Ar-15 Assembly Guide says it's the smallest of the two.

I believe the roll pin is 3/32", probably get away with buying one at OSH and trimming it down.  Probably less than a buck.
