I'm looking for a good accurate barrel for a 6.8 or 300 blk build. (used to hunt with 16")  What brand is good, and also what brand for my other upper parts.  I'm guessing it is better to keep the same brand throughout my upper? Also what kind of budget should I have for a nice upper including barrel? Anything else you think I should know about my upper parts please let me know!!  Thanks

1. Noveske. Pinned gas block and tube included. 5/8-24 threads and if you ever suppress just hang a suppressor QD or thread protector for your threaded 6.8/30cal can.

2. Wilson Combat. Barrels are in the $200-300 range before a gas block and tube. 416 stainless, 11 twist, SPC2 chamber.

3. AR Performance barrel and bolt combos. No experience with them but many shooters say they're excellent.  They'll setup the gas port for a handguard cap if using dropins or freefloat so you can set the gas block against the shoulder.

My 12" 6.8 had a Troy 11 Vtac on it and a YHM 762 QD and it wqas the smoothest recoiling gun I've ever shot. I miss it but not the ammo cost

It was a Wilson Combat barrel also.
