I have BRD again. Got an itch to upgrade a few parts on my Bushmaster a2 carbine. Just got done installing a flattop receiver and a free float rail. Thought I would share my experience here.

This was my first time changing actual parts on an AR15. Did a little research on how to accomplish this. After everything I heard I am really surprised how easy the front sight came off. Only took one whack with a punch and hammer. Didn't have any trouble during the install. Can't wait to test it out. I also just bought a striped lower the other day. Decided to mod my existing rifle first as a warm up.
