I badly mangled the rear takedown pin spring when test fitting a stock to my new build.  The spring is not salvageable, anyone have any ideas for a replacement?

It costs a business just as much to ship a single spring as a whole LPK.
Having a selection of spare springs, detents, and roll pins on-hand is a good thing.
Brownell’s and Midway among many others sell quality parts in kits and individually.

It's my very first build so unfortunately I don't have a lot of extra parts laying around, yet...

Thanks for the tip on CA. I just picked up a few myself. Last LPK was one shy. 70 cents shipping is unbeatable.

tap the hole next time, 4-40 tap with 4-40x1/8 set screw. Trim 1/8th inch off spring and it will never be an issue. In the mean time begin buying extra springs.
