i have an A2 upper i am looking to put a mid length barrel on. i want to use the standard front sight post. what is the difference between f marked and non f marked front sight posts? when buying the barrel what kind do i need to make sure it has?

F marked FSB's are for flat top receivers and are slightly taller to match the rear sights on a flat top without having to use a taller front sight post....
