I am just finishing up my first build and would like to know if there is a particular orientation for the flash hider ports? If so do you adjust with shim washers?

The closed portion should be facing down. Its easiest to use a crush washer. Peel washers are a serious pain to use. Just thread the A2 on finger tight and use a wrench to turn until its in the proper position.

Closed portion down...this was designed to reduce dust signature when prone or close to the ground. Crush washer and wrench it on till its lined up.
