What seemed like forever is finally finished. Its my very first AR . Everything on it I choose because of the reviews and recommendations by members on this site. I am very satisfied with the quality of all the parts and look. Now I just need to fire it.

Here is the parts list

PSA Midlength Complete Upper
PSA MOE LPK in FDE
Ammo Surplus Stripped Lower
MOE Rifle Length Hand Guard in FDE
CAA Carrying handle
2 30Rd Pmag

I wanted a PSA Dissy but the wait period was too long for me, so I decided to order a midlength and and make my own dissipator. It cost a little more but it was worth having the rifle finished sooner.

Here is some photos of the Rifle.

Started with this

Added These parts

Did some work

Ended up with this

With my Savage 17HMR

And a final shot in the fine ARFCOM tradition. Toes included

what was the reason you decided to move the FSB down the barrel,  dont get me wrong it looks cool and all...  but is there a particular reason for the move or position of the FSB down the barrel, rather than in the original spot in came in..???

i like to be differant too... but i was just wondering if there is a performance factor for the move..???

I believe that the "dissy" is done like that to maintain the reliability of a carbine length gas system while including the extended and inherently more accurate sight radius of rifle length sights with the fixed front sight rather than flip ups.

Awesome rifle Specd. I like the rifle length MOE. Very nice. Let's see some bullseyes after you blast it!
