I'm getting started on a semi precision/ varmint build, and I have a few questions.  I am looking to get a 20 or 24inch bull barrel for this build. What are some good sources for something like this?  I see alot of guys precision rifle barrels are stainless. Any reason behind this as far as accuracy goes?  Also is getting a matched bolt a good idea, or worth the extra money?  This rifle will most likely be used for varmint hunting, and punching paper.  Thanks for any advice and info.

no need for 24", I'd even say 20" is overkill.
Try this

or just buy a complete RRA upper if that's more your thing

RRA makes lots of great Bull barrel rifles.  SS is kind of the standard but you can find the CMV barrels just they are harder to come by.
I agree 24 is overkill and they are insanely heavy.  I recommend finding one that has flutes cut in the barrel it helps with cutting down on heat and makes the rifle somewhat lighter,

I myself have a national match RRA upper I made in a build it is Bull under the free float handguard and HBAR past the gas block/front sight it is on the heavy side but I save weight having the HBAR end.  You might look into that if you are concerned about the weight any,

Thanks for the replies guys.  I will look into these other options, appreciate the heads up.  How about the matched bolt?  Is this necessary?  I have an extra RRA chrome bolt carrier that is brand new.  Thanks
