Do any of you have any experience here with these or any other adjustable gas block?  I would be interested in hearing what you think of them.

I have the aluminum jpgs1 adjustable gas block.

I put it on a .308 gas gun that I put together.  You can fine tune the amount of gas going down the tube and subsequently the amount of bolt inertia.

I like mine with two other parts, a surefire mb762, and a Slash car 10 buffer, my .308 recoil impulse is close to a .223.

This would be for a heavy .223 varmint AR. My thought is to reduce the recoil pulse to what is only required to operate the action to maybe cut down on wear and tear.

I bought one a .750 diameter low profile JPGS-5 to use on a LR build but I am running a extended rifle length handguard and it doesnt fit under them. I had the same idea about turning it down just low enough to cycle and that is basically what the instructions tell you to do. I really wish I could have used it because the build quality is great and it looks tough as nails. I did install a Rainier XTC comp and a Enidine AR-Restor hydraulic buffer with a wolff extra power spring and the recoil on my rifle is so smooth with very little kick.
