How much more accurate is a free float barrel compared to a fixed handgaurd setup. My rra seems to group much better when its warmed up. Will the free float barrell make this condition more consistent? thank you

Depends, free floating the barrel technically doesn't make it more accurate.. it just eliminates outside variables like sling tension, pressure pushing on the handguards, etc.  How much of a change you notice will depend on how you shoot now.  Anywhere from .5"-6" @ 100 yards.

Too many variables in play to be able to accurately answer your question. Depends on the individual barrel, ammo quality, shooter ability, etc.

My opinion is if you plan to shoot on a sandbag and/or bipod a good share of the time, it sure doesn't hurt to have a FF HG.  Necessary? Probably not, unless you're looking for every .1 MOA of accuracy you can get.

Thanks guys good info. My bipod is hooked to the lower handgaurd so having it hooked to a free float tube will be better. I have the free float tube so I may as well install it aned try it out.

If you gather before-and-after data of your results, it will surely help out others in the future.  Gather grouping data now, with pics, and the same information after the free float install, then post it all up.
