I'm planning my first build. For a noob are CMMG lowers good to work with. The sporting goods section in my PX has them for sale at a decent price and I was wondering about them.

CMMG lowers are gtg. Pretty much any lower is fine these days. Pick a roll mark you like and a price you're willing to pay and have at it.

Good as any, have two, plus three Spikes Tactical and two Essential Arms to name a few. All equal in my book.
