| What do most consider to be the absolute neccessity when it comes to tools to build a complete AR, from stripped lower and upper? Dont want to buy what I'm not going to use Thanks! |

In order to specify a little bit:
Get a PRI 5pin bbl nut wrench. 1/2" drive torque wrench: most manufacturers spec this on their bbl nut wrenches. Specific wrenches to install barrel nuts such as the Troy TRX, Daniel Defense Omega X, DD MFR, and probably a gazillion I'm forgetting seem to all have a 1/2" spec. A PRI upper receiver block will allow mounting via takedown/pivot pins or picatinny mounting to align a bridged forearm better. It will also keep the interior of the receiver clear if you use a receiver lapping tool for truing the face of the receiver. If you don't plan on lapping anything the Panther Claw will work well. Use a plastic bag when installing muzzle devices so that the finish doesn't get marred. |

Thanks for the link. Based on what I'm reading I could get by with this: Armorer's Wrench Torque Wrench Upper and Lower Vise Block Not needed and not worth the price.Roll Pin Punches Allen Keys You maybe need one, two if you assemble or alter a rear sight Small Hammer Needle Nose Pliers Bench Vise Leaving anything out? Parallel pliers or at minimum channel locks A TM. Pick your favorite Armed Forces edition |
