Have a "Plum Crazy" lower (new) that I want to mate up with a Bushmaster carbon 223 Upper.

All my other ARs are factory made.

How do I set up the buffer spring pressure ? The Plum Crazy lower has a magpul type stock on it and there are a lot of threads showing behind (butt end) of tube behing the nut.

I don't want to assume Plum Crazy has it set up right and find out the hard way they did not.

Any advice most appreciated. RC1

I assume there was some advice buried in your response but I missed it.

Can you try again in simple English for a non AR expert ?

Thanks.

There is nothing to adjust. There are modifications you can make to increase the power of the spring, but short of getting a different spring you cannot decrease tension.

They recommend getting a Trainnig Manual.

I threw my buddy's Stag 3H upper on my Plum Crazy lower before I got my upper. Put aprox. 100 rounds through it with no issues. I don't think you'll have an issue..
