| Im sorry if this has been covered but I have found nothing in the search, but I'm almost done with my first build with the exception of the barrel and BCG, and was curious about which would be the better choice, a Stag Arms BCG or Palmetto. since there about the same price which would been the better choice. I've heard great stuff about psa. Any input would been appreciated |

It has been feeding and ejecting various type of .223 and 5.56 for me fine so far. I would recommend it as it is probably one of the cheapest premium quality BCG out there haha. But I am planning to replace it with a Spike's Tactical nickel boron BCG. Those things are just too sexy. |

Of the two you listed psa. Also consider bcm, dd, colt, fn, noveske, as listed above.
Hpt/ mpt, made from carpenter 158, and properly staked. If you don't care about that, then buy whatever junk is cheapest. Eta. Forgot that cmt also offers hpt/ mpt, if the stag is as well then it should be fine. |
| I just got a Spike's in (for a friends build) and I can say that it is a nice BCG. I have always tried to use Bravo Co. but they have been out of stock for a while now. Aim Surplus had the Spikes for $109, I ordered from brownell's for $109 but I get LEO discount. Hope this helps |
