Ok, I've got my lower completely assembled but I'm stuck at the upper...
I'm building the rifle for both hunting and shooting. I'm afraid that a 16" bbl will not perform how I'd like at longer range (100+) but don't want the weight of a 20", so I figure an 18". However, friends who've built tell me I can get a 16" heavy contour with a 223 Wylde chamber and can achieve the long range accuracy I want and still maintain maneuverability. Thoughts? This will be a weapon used for hogs, deer and targets primarily... or possibly extremists and liberals... Thanks for any input |
