I am working on my first build right now. I am currently building the lower, a spikes zombie receiver and a CMMG parts kit. Right now I am having trigger problems. When the hammer is engaging the disconnector and I release the trigger, the hammer is not catching the sear and falling all the way forward. What could be causing this? Thanks!

had the same issue with my Spikes lower with RRA LPK
i just worked the hammer back n forth a few times (20x give or take) while keeping the trigger depressed and it remedied itself
up until this point i had to palm-slap the lower to get it to come forward

oh i read yours wrong i think... your hammer is going all the way forward as in the fully upright "fired" position ?
my problem was once pulling the trigger, and holding the trigger while pulling the hammer back, it would lock back and not do the slight "click" forward when the trigger was released

Re check your springs directions with online diagrams. Most common problem with the FCG. I even put mine on backwards before i rechecked them

Most likely disconnector spring in up side down or a disconnector timing issue ... but also check your hammer spring to make it's installed correctly.

If you could take a pic of the FCG and post it it will help.

. . . this is pretty simple . . . LWRC put my hammer spring on backwards, and I didn't catch it until I installed it.  Took it apart, and made sure everything was correct the 2nd time, and it worked. . .

. . . Just follow your heart, that's what I do . . .
