I have been wanting to build this rifle ever since I finished my MK12 Mod 0 clone. I have really enjoyed shooting the rifle and I built this because I wanted something similar in a smaller lighter platform.

Here is my MK12 Mod0 clone-

Heres the parts used for my smaller/lighter build-

Noveske Upper
Noveske Lower
Spikes Enhanced LPK
Rainier BCG
PRI FSB/Gas block
PRI carbon fiber rail
WOA 14.5" barrel
BCM CH
Ops Inc brake/collar
Magpul CTR with Larue RISR
Optics- undecided

Pictures of the build-

Upper parts-

Semi-finished rifle-

A few pictures with a MK12 Mod0-

Im waiting for my Ops Inc brake and collar to arrive then I can get the barrel turned to fit the collar.

I have already ordered a 12th model suppressor for this build.

That looks amazing. Great job on both builds! Now you need to make two MOD 1's!

That thing looks awesome!

Great minds think alike! I've been working on something almost the same for the last couple of months, the build thread is here.  I'll have to take some pictures and update it because its now shootable. The 14.5" barrel is the right ratio for the mid length PRI tube, I went with the 16" because this is my first AR and I was anxious to shoot it.  I didn't  want to deal with the added time and expense of an SBR. I don't have the front or rear sight yet and the Ops 12th and collar are a long ways out.  I'm going to decide on a scope and figure out the SPR rail first, then work on the other parts.

What optics are you thinking about?  Stick with the MR/T 2.5-8x or scale it back for the 14.5" upper?  I don't know how you feel about the 1-4x type scopes but it could be a good fit.

Im going with a 1-4x optic on this build. Im trying to decide between a Nightforce and a IOR Valdada Pitbull. I have experience with NF but I like the smaller size of the pitbull.

Really like those mods to the CTR stock. How heavy do all those attachments make it? I'm assuming less than a PRS still

I dont have the exact weight with RISR and Pod on it. It is a little heavier but it doesnt feel cumbersome, to me it seems to add balance to the rifle with the barrel choice I used. It is no where close to the weight of a PRS.

I got the Ops Inc brake and collar installed today. I ordered an IOR Pitbull in an ADM mount today which should arrive next week and then I will be able to see how this thing shoots.

I got the optic in for this build this week. I installed an IOR Pitbull 1-4 on this rifle. I am impressed the scope although it is abit heavy. Im taking this out this weekend to see how it performs.

Finished pictures-
