I am working on a low price build I think I am set on a dpms 18" mk12 rifle length gas tube barrel. My question is about the feed ramps I donno if the the barrel has m4 cuts and when I called dpms the guy had no idea what I was asking. I would like to order one of the 79 dollar uppers from surplus ammo but I wanna make sure they are compatible before I spend the money. thanks in advance

where are you getting the barrel from and how much is it gonna coast ya..??? if you dont mind me asking?
which manufature is the DPMS barrle out of..?? i think DPMS sometimes uses Wilson barrels right? but they also use somebody else as well too, do you know wich one the one your gettting is?

I don't see any mention of M4 ramps on that link so I'm guessing there isn't any ... if so you would need an upper without them also.

Or you can dremel the feed ramps in yourself if it doesn't already have them. Not all that difficult.

One of the reviews of that barrel says, "The M4 barrel extension could use some cleaning up/polishing of the ramps/lugs, though."

I think the word Pre-ban tells you it doesnt have M4 ramps.

yea I guess i could put them in with a dremel. i just cant seem to get a straight answer if it has them or not. hopefully someone here has that barrel and maybe can give me a answer
