It took me a while to build my rifle and in the process decided to go carbine after I installed the standard buffer tube. I didn't even think of the mismatch until I ran across a thread discussing buffer tubes. I've only been out 1 time since building it, about 200 rds. Shoots great. What would the problems be with leaving this tube on the rifle? Thank you
Here is a picture of my son shooting the rifle. http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/elky66/IMG_3140.jpg |

What is the question? You have a carbine length receiver extension(buffer tube) with a carbine spring and buffer right? If so, you are good to go. Carbine gas systems can work with rifle receiver extensions, rifle spring, and rifle buffers.
I'm not familiar with California laws... Are the collapsoble stock and 30rd mag no-nos? |

Sorry for the confusion. You answered my question.. I've got a rifle tube on a carbine.. Shoots great. Thank you I'm no longer in California. I live in Texas. This Rifle would not be legal in CA that's not a rifle tube. what makes you think that it is? a rifle tube lacks threads for a castle nut and is complete smooth, no detent holes for the adjustable stock... |
| Your right in Calif you need a Bullet button and a 10 round clip also a adjust a bol stock is also a no no I think you cant have a screwed on flash suppressor but Im not sure about... I have some members telling me about their AK,s but im sure the rules are the same..... |
