Hey all,

What is the difference between an F-Marked FSB and a standard FSB?

Thanks.

F-Marked FSBs are meant to be compatible with rail mounted iron sights. This doesn't mean that non-marked FSBs are incompatible with rail mounted sights, however. They (may) simply require a slightly taller sight post when used in this manner.

F marked FSB is taller (.040 inch) than a standard FSB.

The height is needed for the flattop upper receiver. See the above link
