I get them while getting other parts, last time it was Model1Sales and I went with the Gen 2 KNS pins.

KNS and they are avail at almost any supplier.

Gen ones are larger than gen 2's.  They come in small and large pin varieties.

Save your money, and skip the KNS pins. ARs have been working fine without them for years...

For a run-of-the-mill AR, they're not needed.  For a lower that is in any way special, such as a "pre ban" lower in a ban state, an SBR or other NFA lower, they're inexpensive insurance.

Gen2 KNS pins are very affordable, easy to install, and do the job nicely.  They also seem to be well-enough polished that there was a noticeable decrease in pull weight and increase in smoothness when I installed them in my SBR.

Thanks a lot guys. I think for no more than they cost I might try a set.

There is nothing wrong with using KNS pins on your lower. They work as advertised & also tighten up your stock trigger as a side.
